PA'IA TOWN & WATERFALL HIKE Enjoy a visit to the historic plantation town of Pa'ia, now a funky, laid-back surf community. Visit colorful storefronts housing boutiques, art galleries, and souvenir shops offering one-of-a-kind treasures. Then head to Ho'olawa Valley along Maui's famous Hana Highway, where you'll take a 1.5 mile hike to refreshing waterfalls in a lush rainforest, swim in freshwater pools (optional), and jump from rock ledges into the pools below. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the picturesque waterfall areas. Along the way you'll learn fascinating facts about Maui and Hawai'i from your entertaining and knowledgeable naturalist guide. Before returning to your resort, you'll visit world-famous Ho'okipa Beach Park, where frequently some of the best waves in Hawai'i and Hawaiian green sea turtles are found. Enjoy free time shopping in the quirky, wonderfully laid-back seaside town of Pa'ia. Hike through a rainforest to waterfalls where you are encouraged to swim in the pools below and jump from rock ledges. Watch the surfers and windsurfers at Ho'okipa Beach Park and look for green sea turtles. When: Offered Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm from the Kahului Park & Ride.
