Taro Tasting & Farm Tour This tour offers an opportunity for guests to connect with the island through the Hawaiian staple Taro (kalo) Visitors will sample an array of prepared bites along with an herbal Maui tea blend. If you're lucky, you might even get to feed the pigs, sheep, and goats! Learn about the history of the land and the significance of the Taro plant - then embark on an exclusive tour of a working regenerative farm that offers unique views of Haleakala, the West Maui Mountains, and both the North and South Shores. This tour is a must if you want to connect with the beautiful 'aina during your visit to the island! Duration: 90 minutes Age 6+ What to Bring: Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen), non-plastic/reusable water bottle (to support zero waste efforts on our island), comfortable closed-toed shoes (recommended but not required) Check in: Please arrive at least 10 minutes early; we are located at 2100 HI-30, Waikapu, HI 96793. Our teal-colored Farm Tour signs will guide you to our facility. The first sign is on HI-30 across from a double yellow gate; turn east into the gate and continue straight towards the second sign. Take a right at the second sign and continue 1/4 mile to find our farm structure on the left-hand side. Park considerately along the right-hand side of the road.
